So here I am off on another adventure. I know…nothing out of the ordinary about that for me. I’m on another Amtrak train ride this time heading to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. My steward in Business Class is very attentive and all is well with my world. I’ve given him my order to keep my coffee cup filled approximately every hour for the duration of the 10 hour trip. You most likely stop in to your favorite coffee shop a few times a week if not daily.  Did you ever wonder what those Baristas do on their coffee break?  Probably not.  Why would you?  But just in case you are the type of person who ponders, "If the Pope really is indeed Roman Catholic?" or "If bears really do indeed do their business in the woods?"....then this is the perfect blog post to read to get your brain going and get a possible conversation started tomorrow morning at your morning cafe.

One of the big reasons people come to Booskerdoo Fresh Roasted Coffee Company is because we have awesome iced coffee and tea. We cold brew all of our iced coffee and tea unlike so many other places that make their iced coffee and tea by brewing it hot, letting it sit for a few hours or overnight, and then pouring it over ice.

Why? Well...cold brewing makes for a much tastier cup of coffee or tea for several reasons....

Coffee, like most subjective indulgences, needs more than just the words “bad” or “good” as descriptors. Sure, it’s going to end up being one of those two, but we shouldn't feel silly trying to dissect why we feel this way, especially if we drink coffee on a regular basis. Whether it be flavor, sound, or visually stunning art, our past experiences of enjoying our senses have accumulated into one unique palate that we should embrace and challenge daily rather than shun into the doldrums of routine.
